Niall is originally from Ennis in Co.Clare. Graduating in 2002 from the University of Limerick with a Wood science and technology degree, Niall is well equipped with a knowledge and understanding of furniture and wood. Spending 8 years working in London he returned home in 2011 where he set up home in his wife's home county Mayo. He has a love of timber and of fine craft. Each piece of furniture he makes embodies his passion.

Based in our home workshop in Irishtown on the Mayo/Galway border, Niall Russell Bespoke makes bespoke kitchens, vanity units and furniture to a high level of craftsmanship using traditional joinery techniques. We can assure you of the highest quality as all our furniture is handmade in our workshop.

Our doors and frames are made from a solid hardwood called tulipwood. What sets us apart from competitors amongst other things is our use of superior materials and fittings. For example, our carcasses are constructed from high grade birch ply which ensures our kitchens are built to last and will look as good in 50 years as they do today. We endeavor to avoid using cheaper alternatives such as chipboard and MDF wherever possible. Please see our blog page for details on how our kitchens are constructed.
